He said reportedly Russian drone attacks destroyed warehouses and granaries in a Ukrainian port on the Danube, near the Romanian border.

The official added earlier Russia had attacked Ukrainian port infrastructure in Odesa, Reni, and Izmail.
He said the attacks show that Moscow wants to prevent grain and foodstuffs from reaching needy throughout the world.

Responding to a question, Vedant Patel said such acts by the Kremlin will have negative impact on Ukrainian farmers.

He noted Russian attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure facilities have destroyed hundreds of thousands of Ukraine’s grains bound for global markets.

The situation remains highly tense in the area, with both sides engaged in military actions. The ongoing developments underline the complex geopolitical landscape in the region.

Earlier, Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Shoygu had blamed the US for committing war crimes by supplying cluster bombs to Ukraine, which is prohibited by international law.
