ISLAMABAD: In a major step towards boosting bilateral ties, Minister for Commerce Syed Naveed Qamar and the leader of the Pakistan-Iran Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Ahmad Amirabadi Farahani co-chaired a meeting of the group here in Islamabad on Thursday.
Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Commerce were also present in the meeting, according to a press release.
Pakistan-Iran Economic Linkages
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen economic and trade linkages between Pakistan and Iran, aiming to expand cooperation and bilateral ties.
The meeting underlined the mutual commitment to bolster regional prosperity and foster a stronger partnership between the two countries.
