DUBAI: In a period of heightened tensions between Iran and the United States in the Gulf region, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards’ navy has recently unveiled a formidable fleet of new vessels, equipped with state-of-the-art 600 km range missiles.
The unveiling comes at a time when the US has increased its military presence in the Middle East, deploying additional F-35 and F-16 fighter jets, as well as a warship, to safeguard key waterways following Iran’s seizure of commercial shipping vessels in recent months.
This development has raised concerns over regional stability and poses a potential threat to international maritime security.
