WASHINHTON: US President Joe Biden has extended warm wishes to Muslims on the arrival of new Islamic year, local media reported on Wednesday.

Biden also prayed that the new year may bring progress and prosperity to the world.
Taking to Twitter Biden said that he extended his warm wishes to their Muslim friends and neighbors marking the Islamic New Year, 1445 Al-Hijra. He added, “May this year bring peace and blessings to you!”.
