KOHISTAN: At least six persons were killed when a jeep carrying nine passengers fell into a ravine near Barparo in Kohistan area of Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, local media reported citing rescue sources.
According to details, six people including three women and a girl were killed in the incident. Three other passengers sustained injuries.
According to the police, the passenger jeep turned turtle while taking a turn near Barparo. The bodies of the deceased and injured have been shifted to a local hospital.
In March, at least four people were burnt alive after a car they were travelling in, caught fire after plunging into a gorge in Rawalpindi.
