OTTAWA: The US Coast Guard has said that human remains are thought to have been found in debris of the Titan submersible, parts from the sub, which collapsed on a deep dive to the Titanic, was delivered in St John’s, Canada, BBC reported on Wednesday.

Coast Guard officials said that the submersible’s landing frame and a cover were found among the wreckages. In a statement, the US Coast Guard officials said that the American medical professionals would conduct an analysis of presumed human remains. The agency is in the early phases of a probe into the causes of the Titan submersible disaster.
AFP reported that wreckages recovered from the submersible. bringing to an end a tough recovery operation. Pelagic Research firm said that they have ended their search-and-recovery operation. A firm spokesperson said that they have completed their actions. He admitted that the search and recovery operation had been “an extremely risky job.”
He said that it was very exhausting for the entire team who were taking part in the operation around the clock, over ten days of working. However, Canadian authorities declined to comment on the recovery of the submersible wreckages.
All five tourists on board the ship died on 18th June following Titan submersible imploded around 90 minutes into a dive to view the well-known 1912 shipwreck, which sits at a depth of 3,800m in the north Atlantic.
