RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat has inaugurated the control room of the National Tawafa Establishment for Hajj Pilgrims of Turkey, Muslims of European countries, US, and Australia.
KSA Launches AI Control Room to Facilitate Hajj Pilgrims
The AI control room aims to facilitate Hajj pilgrims, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Dr. Wael Halabi, member of the establishment’s board of directors, said the control room will be equipped with latest and advanced technology, including security monitoring to identify Hajj pilgrims’ faces.
He maintained that the room will also measure humidity, temperature, and all vital parameters and the density of pilgrims in one site to facilitate travel and transportation.
