Kuwait’s Crown Prince Re-Appoints Prime Minister
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Crown Prince asked the new Prime Minister to announce his new ministers. Former Kuwait’s Prime Minister led government resigned after parliamentary poll earlier this month.
Earlier, Kuwaitis flocked to polling stations nationwide in their third parliament elections. The general elections, called by the Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah last month, witnessed a great turnout, particularly among senior citizens who actively participated in the voting process.
According to the state news agency KUNA, the high participation of elderly voters demonstrated their commitment to the democratic process and their desire to have a say in shaping the country’s future.
