PENTAGON: The US is providing up to 325 million dollars in additional military aid for Ukraine, a United States defence official said on Tuesday.
The package is expected to include Bradley and Stryker armoured vehicles that can replace those damaged and destroyed in the Ukrainian counteroffensive currently underway, acording to VOA.

The officials said the new aid includeed munitions for National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS) and more advanced rockets for Ukraine’s High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS).

US announcement

The United States aid announcement comes amid reports that Ukraine’s military has lost over a dozen Bradley military fighting vehicles, highlighting the current counteroffensive’s military costs.
Bradley Bowman, senior director of the Center on Military said, “These major systems, as good as they’re, are vulnerable and would need to be replaced, so it’s a reminder that this security provision is not a one-off and this would’ve to continue for the long term.”
