DUBAI: American singer and actress Becky G turned heads at the Los Angeles screening of Searchlight Pictures’ “Flamin’ Hot” as she showcased a stunning gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. The black gown, taken from Murad’s Resort 2023 collection, featured exquisite cut-out detailing on the waist, adding an element of sophistication to Becky G’s ensemble.
“Flamin’ Hot” narrates the inspiring story of Richard Montanez, the son of a Mexican immigrant who, as a janitor at Frito Lay, conceived the idea for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Inspired by the flavors of his community, Montanez’s creation revitalized Frito-Lay and disrupted the food industry. Directed by Eva Longoria, the film was released on June 9.
This is not the first time Becky G has chosen a Zuhair Murad creation. At the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, she made a memorable appearance in a show-stopping beaded column gown from Murad’s fall 2022 collection. The dress featured tarot embroidered motifs and side cut-outs, capturing attention on the red carpet.
