RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has lifted a temporary restriction on livestock from Turkiye.
The Saudi environment ministry had imposed a temporary ban on imports of Turkish livestock in March due to foot-and-mouth illness in the country, Saudi media reported on Tuesday.
Timely Measures by Turkish Authorities
Turkish authorities had isolated nearly 215 villages in the northwest region of the country after the disease was diagnosed in the cattle, including goats and sheep in Alapli, Kozluk, Eregli, Gokcebey, and some central villages of Zonguldak.
