ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, has arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to Pakistan, Foreign Office said on Tuesday.

Belarus Foreign Minister visits Pakistan
In a statement via Twitter, Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson said that Sergei Aleinik arrived in Pakistan at the invitation of Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The statement maintained that the two top diplomats of Pakistan and Belarus would hold wide-ranging talks covering a range of matters of bilateral interest. The two sides will also discuss bilateral ties and cooperation in diverse fields.
According to local media, Pakistan and Belarus will explore enhanced cooperation in the economic, political, defense, science, and technology sectors. The two nations enjoy cordial ties. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto last met Belarusian FM on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York in 2022.
