RIYADH: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud have congratulated Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his re-election for a new presidential term, Arab media reported on Monday.

Saudi Leadership Congratulates Erdogan on his election victory
According to the Saudi Press Agency, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to Erdogan on his re-election. The King extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes of success to Erdogan and wished the brotherly people of Türkiye further development and prosperity. King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also commended the fraternal ties that bind the two brotherly nations and peoples, expressing aspiration to further strengthen and develop them in all sectors.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has sent a cable of congratulations to Erdogan on his re-election as President. He extended in the cable his sincere congratulations and best wishes of success to him (Erdogan), and wished the brotherly people of Türkiye further development and prosperity.
The head of Türkiye’s Election Commission announced on Sunday that Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been re-elected as the country’s President. The Commission said that President Erdogan won Türkiye’s presidency over opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu in the 2nd-round runoff vote. The chief of the Commission said that the incumbent President won the contest with 52.14 percent, while Kilicdaroglu got 47.86 percent of the votes following counting 99.43 percent of the votes.
Erdogan, the President of Turkey, declared victory on Sunday in a historic runoff election that presented the toughest challenge to his two-decade rule.
