RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Russia’s bilateral economic relations are set to get a fresh boost as Riyadh is hosting the Made in Russia +Innoprom business mission in on Monday and Tuesday.
Anton Atrashkin, program director of the Innoprom International Trade Show, told the Arab News that over 100 Russian companies would be a part of the show to be organized in Riyadh. Atrashkin said they are very eager to see the reaction of the Saudi businessmen toward Russia’s show.

He said the business mission would open a new page of bilateral economic ties between the two sides.
A high-level delegation will be led by Russia’s Minister for Industry Alexei Gruzdev to attend the show in Riyadh. Innoprom is the major Russian industrial show that has been held for the last fourteen years in Yekaterinburg. The exhibition aims to display innovative technologies developed in Russia that are ready to be utilized in the industry sector.
As per Arab News, Russians Helicopters, Rostselmash Agricultural Machines, Transmashholding, Power Machines, and Kaspersky are some of the major firms attending the show.
Atrashkin added that Russian-made agricultural products are getting popular in the Kingdom market, and the show seeks to introduce Russian-made industrial technologies in Saudi Arabia.
Alexei Gruzdev said the Russian-Saudi ties are based on strong foundations, which will contribute to the development targets of the two nations.
Alexei Gruzdev said that they want to strengthen economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Russia, explore new business venues and opportunities, exchange new ideas, and establish long-term partnerships.
He said: “We are mainly thankful to the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce for hosting the show and to our Saudi friends from the Ministry of Industry.”
Atrashkin appreciated the reformatory steps introduced by the government of Saudi Arabia, which now permits foreign investors to operate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He noted that Russian-Arab ties have always been pleasant and deep.
