MOSCOW: Moscow announced on Thursday that it was expelling five Swedish diplomats and shutting down the Russian general consulate in Gothenburg and the Swedish diplomatic post in Saint Petersburg, AFP said.
“The Swedish ambassador Malena Mard has been called and informed about the decision to declare five Swedish diplomats persona non grata,” according to the Russian foreign ministry.
