ISLAMABAD: Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang has arrived in Islamabad for a two-day official visit
to Attend Trilateral Dialogue, Local media reported on Friday. The Chinese FM is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, local media reported on Friday. This is his first official visit to Pakistan since taking office.
Chinese FM visits Pakistan
In addition to bilateral discussions, the Chinese foreign minister will attend the 5th China-Pakistan-Afghanistan Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue on Saturday. The fourth round of the Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue will be co-chaired by Foreign Minister Bilawal and his Chinese counterpart Qin Gang.
The Strategic Dialogue is a structured mechanism for assessing bilateral cooperation in main areas. The two sides will reaffirm the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership’s continuing vitality, build a plan for multidimensional cooperation between Pakistan and China, and look into the changing regional and global landscape.
