ISLAMABAD: Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, directed the proper scrutiny of the workforce to be hired for the country so that they could be able to perform well as per their job descriptions.
The ambassador said this in a meeting with Saudi Labor Attaché Majid Bakr bin Idris Bakr, Professional Examination Programme Project Manager Johar Afzal, and Saudi Counselor Khalid Al-Hamwi.
The meeting was meant to expand coordination on the labour side, raise the level of labour candidates for work in Saudi Arabia, verify the skills of nominated labour, and address their challenges.
The Saudi ambassador directed them to attend the professional examination project centres and ensure they played the required role.
He also emphasized the need to open a new examination centre and said the centre should be professional and exemplary.
Ambassador suggests common logo
He suggested that there should be a common logo for the centres that would reflect the scope of the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The Saudi Labor Attaché commended the envoy for his support, interest and follow-up.
He also thanked the members of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development for their support and cooperation in the ministry’s programs.
