The King was looking forward in order to hold a meeting with President of France a great deal and hearing from him how London and Paris are working jointly to further increase bilateral relations, source said. It was to be Charles’s first trip abroad since he became the King.
The press reported that he had been hoping to further strengthen diplomatic relations with French President after an agreement on the Brexit Windsor Framework was reached a few days ago.
The visit was postponed two days before it was to start because of the ongoing violent protest demonstrations over pension reforms in the host country.
