PESHAWAR: A five-day flower exhibition featuring 30 distinct spring flower varieties began at the University of Agriculture here on Monday.
Secretary of Higher Education Department Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Dawood Khan and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jahan Bakht inaugurated the exhibition. Hundreds of people came to the lovely and vibrant flowers to enjoy and took selfies with them.
Chairman of the Horticulture Department, Dr Abdul Matin; Dr Fazal Wahid, and Dr Masood Ahmed briefed the participants and chief guest about various flowers.
While the university’s vice chancellor gave specifics and information on flowers, such an initiative, according to Secretary Dawood Khan and Dr. Bakht, provided happiness and serenity to the populace.
