Local Administration Conditionally Permits PTI to Hold Rally in Lahore

LAHORE: The district administration has conditionally permitted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to hold its election rally on Monday, local media reported on Sunday. According to local media, the caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Raza Naqvi issued directives to the district administration to hold meetings with the PTI’s leaders and finalize the strategy for the election rally in the city. The district administration, however, warned the PTI’s leaders to not issue statements against the country’s institutions and judiciary, a local television reported.

PTI will hold rally on Monday

Earlier, PTI chief Imran Khan postponed the election rally which was to be held today (Sunday) after suggesting his workers and supporters remain peaceful. Imran Khan postponed his rally after the government imposed section 144 in the city.
