Pakistan Women’s Team Captain Bisma Maruf Resignation Accepted

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi has accepted the resignation of Pakistan Women’s team captain Bisma Maruf on Wednesday.

Najam Sethi, issued a statement on social media handle Twitter, saying that Bisma wants to give a leadership opportunity to a well-known young player, and she will remain available as a regular player for Pakistan.

It should be noted that under the leadership of Bisma, Pakistan won 27 out of 62 T20Is and lost in 32. In addition, Pakistan won 16 out of 34 ODI matches under Bisma’s captaincy.
