DAKAR: Officials said that at least 3 UN peacekeeper have been killed in a roadside bomb blast in Mali. According to the UN Mission in Mali, the incident took place on Tuesday. The officials confirmed that three officials were killed in the roadside explosion. The officials added that five persons were also seriously wounded in the attack. However, the UN officials did not provide more details.

In January, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that as many as 165 peacekeepers were killed and over 687 wounded in violence since July 2013.
