ISLAMABAD: China and Pakistan launched the International Industry-Education Cooperation Alliance at China, Pakistan Seminar on “Internet” International Education and Industry-Education Integration held in Beijing.

Pak Ambassador to China, Moin ul Haque addressed the seminar hosted by the China Education Association for International Exchange and arranged by TANG International Education Group and the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing as part of the 23rd China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education.

The ambassador said that many Chinese enterprises are working in Pakistan on such projects.

They need a skilled labor force, adding that he recently visited some prominent names in Shenzhen, China, and was impressed by their hard work, innovation, and focus on people training. He further said that China has emerged as one of the world leaders in AI, computing, IoT, and big data.

It is learned that about ten percent of the youth in Pakistan are unemployed and have no technical, vocational, or commercial skills.

Meanwhile, with the progress of the CPEC project, the demand for a skilled labor force is becoming increasingly urgent, China Economic Net (CEN) reported.

Meanwhile, President TANG International Education Group, Li Jinsong, said that the seminar was hosted to assist and train local Pakistani teachers and provide many scholarships and living allowances for needy students in Pakistan to access learning and life-changing opportunities.
