ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reaffirmed that they would continue to advance unstinted political, diplomatic, and political support to the people of Kashmir until the realization of their right to self-determination as per the resolutions of United Nations Security Council.
Islamabad reaffirms support for Kashmiris
In a message on Kashmir Solidarity Day, the foreign minister said that issue of Jammu and Kashmir will remain a key pillar of foreign policy of Pakistan. He said as people of Pakistan observed the Kashmir Solidarity Day, they (Pakistani) saluted the sacrifices rendered by their Kashmiri sisters and brothers who had suffered a lot under brutal Indian oppression.
Bilawal Bhutto stressed that India must end its human rights violations in Kashmir; reverse its illegal and unilateral actions of 5 August 2019; allow UN investigations into cases of extrajudicial killings and; implement relevant UNSC resolutions on IIOJK.

The minister said the Indian occupation forces have brutalized the people of Kashmir and denied them their fundamental rights. He said that IIOJK was one of the most-militarized zones in the world, with the presence of more than 900,000 occupation troops.
With its unilateral and illegal actions of 5 August 2019, New Delhi has opened a new chapter in suppressing Kashmiri, he said.
