LAHORE: Pakistan is set to host an ODI tri-series involving England and Sri Lanka from October 18, 2026, marking the national cricket team’s next international assignment. The matches will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore, with the final scheduled for October 31.
The PCB had earlier announced that Sri Lanka would arrive in Pakistan on October 4 for a three-match T20I series, with all three games set to be played in Rawalpindi from October 9 to 13.

Meanwhile, an England cricket team security delegation visited the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) on Tuesday to review security arrangements for the upcoming series. Accompanied by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials, the delegation was briefed on the authority’s surveillance systems, command-and-control mechanism and security plans for the matches.
The briefing covered arrangements for team routes, airports, hotels, parking areas and other key locations in Lahore and Rawalpindi. The delegation also reviewed monitoring through modern surveillance cameras installed across both cities.
The England officials expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements and appreciated the PSCA’s integrated security system and measures aligned with international standards.

Officials said coordinated security arrangements had been finalised for the tri-series matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi to ensure comprehensive protection for the visiting teams.

England will then join Pakistan and Sri Lanka for the ODI tri-series, which will begin on October 18.
The Sri Lanka National Men’s Team will tour Pakistan in October and November 2026.
During the tour, Sri Lanka will first play a T20I series against Pakistan.
This will be followed by a tri-nation One Day International (ODI) series featuring Sri Lanka, Pakistan and England.
