WASHINGTON: Governor of Arkansas Sarah Huckabee Sanders will deliver the GOP address to the nation in response to US President Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech next week as the Republican seeks to show it’s creating a new generation of leaders.

US House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell announced it on Thursday.
McConnell said that President Joe Biden keeps committing old mistakes and failing citizens of the US, a rising generation of Republicans are fighting for families, advancing new winning and solutions,”.

Sarah Sanders, the first woman elected governor of Arkansas, said she appreciated the opportunity to contrast the Republican’s vision for the future against that of Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats.
She said that they are ready to start a new chapter in the US to be written by a new generation of leaders. Before taking office of governor, Sarah Sanders worked as White House press secretary for Donald Trump during 2017-19. US President Joe Biden will deliver the address on February, 7.
