His remarks came following London had appeared to rule out sending its warplanes. The prime minister’s official spokesman on Tuesday said that the UK’s F-35 and Typhoon fighter jets are very sophisticated and take several months to learn how to fly. Therefore, it is not practical to provide those jets into Kyiv, PM’s spokesman remarked.
The UK defence minister said even if tomorrow they announced they were going to put them in fast jets that would take several. London said in January that it was sending its battel tanks to Ukraine at the end of March.
