ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Malaysia have successfully concluded their joint counterterrorism exercise, Harimau Markhore-IV, at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi, the military’s media affairs wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two-week-long exercise focused on sharing counter terrorism experiences, refining operational drills and procedures, and enhancing combat skills through the exchange of best practices.

The exercise reaffirmed the longstanding military cooperation between both countries and their shared resolve to strengthen collaboration in the counter-terrorism domain.

Pakistan and Malaysia enjoy close and longstanding ties rooted in shared values, mutual respect and strong people-to-people connections. The two countries continue to cooperate across political, economic, defence and regional issues, while supporting each other in promoting peace, stability and development.
