RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued its humanitarian and relief operations in Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Chad and Nepal, providing healthcare services, shelter assistance and food aid to thousands of people affected by hardship, displacement and natural disasters.
Yemen
In Yemen, the dialysis centre in Al-Ghaydah District, Al-Mahrah Governorate, continued providing medical services to patients with support from KSrelief, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.
In September 2026, the centre received 166 patients. Of these, 55 patients underwent 436 scheduled dialysis sessions and 14 emergency sessions, while another 111 patients received consultations and medical examinations at the nephrology clinic.

Males accounted for 56% of the beneficiaries, while females represented 44%. In terms of residency status, displaced people accounted for 13% of beneficiaries, residents for 85% and refugees for 2%.
The support forms part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian projects through KSrelief to strengthen healthcare services and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Sudan
Meanwhile, in Sudan, KSrelief distributed 1,680 shelter kits to displaced people in North Kordofan State, benefiting 7,619 individuals. The distribution took place as part of the 2026 Madad Initiative Project in Sudan and aims to provide essential shelter assistance to people affected by displacement.
The initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to supporting the Sudanese people through humanitarian and relief programmes designed to ease their suffering and address urgent needs.

Somalia
In Somalia, the National Blood Bank in Mogadishu provided medical services to 401 beneficiaries in September 2026 with support from KSrelief.
Of the beneficiaries, males accounted for 73% and females 27%. Displaced people represented 13% of those served, while residents accounted for the remaining 87%.

Chad
In Chad, KSrelief distributed 1,000 food baskets to the most vulnerable groups, benefiting 6,000 individuals. The distribution was carried out under the 2026 in-kind aid distribution project in Chad, which seeks to provide essential food supplies to people facing hardship.

Nepal
In Nepal, a KSrelief team, working in cooperation with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority under the Ministry of Home Affairs, distributed shelter assistance to people affected by floods in Trishuli. The aid benefited 1,600 individuals affected by the disaster.

The operation highlights Saudi Arabia’s continued humanitarian engagement in supporting people in need and assisting brotherly and friendly countries during crises and difficult circumstances.
A Saudi relief plane operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) arrived in Nepal carrying a range of humanitarian supplies on Thursday.
The aid was dispatched upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
