Abbas Afridi to Lead Pakistan in Hong Kong Sixes

Pakistan will compete alongside 11 teams in the six-a-side tournament scheduled from October 30 to November 1.

LAHORE, Pakistan: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the national squad for the upcoming Hong Kong Sixes tournament, with Abbas Afridi appointed as captain for the six-a-side competition.

The tournament will be held at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong from October 30 to November 1, with Pakistan set to depart on October 28.

Pakistan will compete alongside 11 other teams in the three-day event, with the participating sides divided into four pools of three teams each.

The Green Shirts have been placed in Pool C for the tournament.

Pakistan Squad for Hong Kong Sixes

The Pakistan squad features a mix of young players and emerging white-ball talents.

Abbas Afridi will lead the side, with Abdul Samad, Ahmed Daniyal, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Khawaja Nafay, Muhammad Shahzad and Saad Masood completing the playing group.

Raza Kitchlew has been appointed as the team manager.

The Hong Kong Sixes is a fast-paced format featuring six players per side, with matches designed around aggressive batting and quick bowling spells.

Pakistan will now begin preparations ahead of their departure as they look to compete in the international six-a-side tournament.
