RIYADH: Saudi Arabia will host the fourth Saudi International Maritime Forum in Riyadh from November 23 to 25, 2026, bringing together naval commanders, policymakers, experts, and representatives from the industrial and technology sectors.
The Royal Saudi Naval Forces will host the event under the patronage of Minister of Defence Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
The theme of the forum for this year is “The Future of Seabed Security & Maritime Supply Chains in a Critically Changing World.”
Through a series of specialised sessions and activities, the forum will examine key maritime security issues, including changes in the global strategic environment and their implications for maritime supply chain security, as well as threats to energy supply chains.

Discussions will also focus on seabed security and the protection of subsea infrastructure, alongside security challenges facing the maritime transport sector. Participants will explore solutions and technologies aimed at safeguarding maritime systems and improving their operational efficiency.
The forum will further highlight the growing role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in strengthening maritime security.
Representatives of international organisations and entities from more than 40 countries have confirmed their participation, underscoring the forum’s role as a global platform for sharing knowledge and expertise, fostering partnerships, and developing common perspectives on contemporary maritime challenges.
