ABBOTTABAD: Pakistan all-rounder Salman Ali Agha said minor adjustments to his batting technique helped him regain confidence after scoring a record-breaking triple century in the President’s Trophy Grade-I.
Agha remained unbeaten on 300 off 336 deliveries for Kingsmen Academy against MIT Solutions at Abbottabad Cricket Stadium, guiding his side to a declared total of 565-7.
His marathon innings included 42 boundaries and six sixes, marking a major return to form after a difficult period in international cricket.
Agha Finds Rhythm
Reflecting on his performance, Agha admitted that his recent international form had not met his expectations but said technical changes played an important role in rebuilding his confidence.

He described the triple century as a special milestone and said such achievements are rare in a player’s career.
Agha also highlighted the importance of domestic cricket for international players, saying regular first-class cricket helps cricketers stay prepared for the challenges at the highest level.
Partnership Builds Innings
Agha said he was focused on building partnerships rather than reaching personal milestones after Kingsmen Academy were reduced to 72-3.
He partnered with Muhammad Suleman, who scored 115 runs, as the pair helped stabilise the innings and create a strong platform.
Agha said his priority was to concentrate on each delivery and support the team’s position instead of chasing centuries.
Family Receives Tribute
The Pakistan all-rounder dedicated his innings to his family, saying they supported him during a challenging period when his form was under pressure.
The 300-run knock also gave Agha valuable time at the crease after limited opportunities in recent Test appearances.
Although the opposition in the President’s Trophy match consisted of teams making their first-class debuts after promotion, the extended innings provided Agha with important confidence ahead of future international assignments.
