ISLAMABAD: Like other Pakistanis, sportsmen and showbiz stars were not lagging behind and took to their social media accounts to condemn the barbaric attack on a mosque in Peshawar on Monday.
Taking to his Twitter handle Pakistan’s Cricket Team Pakistan Cricket Team Skipper and world-class batsman Babar Azam showed his grief over the incident and prayed for the families of the deceased and a peaceful country.
Commenting over the tragic incident, Pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi felt pain, expressed his sympathies for the victims, and condemned the terrorist for targeting civilians in a sacred place like a mosque.
Former Pakistan skipper and batter Muhammad Hafiz expressed his grief over the incident and prayed for the departed souls.
Emerging fast-bowler Naseem Shah shared his view along with sharing a picture of the targeted mosque and prayed for long-lasting peace in the country.
Showbiz stars condemnation Peshawar blast
Like other celebrities famous Actor and Producer Humayun Saeed also took to his Twitter handle and condemn the blast, with the hope of ensuring peace and stability in the country by the concerned authorities.
Actor Adnan Siddiqui expressed his grief and anger over the incident and advised the militants to spare targeting innocent people and worship places.
Actress Saba Qamar also delivered a condemnation message with prayers for the families of the deceased.
Actor Faysal Quraishi shared a video clip of the mosque showing the devastation and panic soon after the blast and urged the nation to restart a fresh campaign against anti-state elements.
Scores of other celebrities, writers and social activists also rushed to social media and marked their presence to condemn the tragic blast.
