RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir paid a visit to Quetta Garrison on Saturday, where he stressed the need for enhanced coordination among Law Enforcement Agencies and state institutions to solidify peace and create conditions favourable for long-term economic growth and development in Balochistan.
The Field Marshal interacted with commanders and commanding officers of field formations deployed across the region. He reaffirmed that the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Balochistan remain central to the efforts of the state. He emphasised that a stable and secure environment would continue to facilitate development initiatives, economic opportunities, and improved prospects for the people of the province.
Upon arrival at Quetta, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was received by the Commander Quetta Corps.

According to the military media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS & CDF was given a comprehensive briefing on the prevailing security environment, operational preparedness, and ongoing measures aimed at maintaining peace and stability across Balochistan.
Matters related to institutional coordination and support for the socio-economic development of the province were also reviewed during the briefing.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir appreciated the high standards of professionalism, operational readiness, and selfless commitment displayed by the troops.
He underscored the importance of continued coordination among Law Enforcement Agencies and other state institutions to consolidate peace and maintain an environment conducive to sustained economic activity and development.
The Field Marshal reaffirmed that the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Balochistan remain central to the efforts of the state. He emphasised that a stable and secure environment would continue to facilitate development initiatives, economic opportunities, and improved prospects for the people of the province.
During his visit, the COAS & CDF paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and lauded the steadfast dedication of officers and troops in the discharge of their duties.
