GAZA STRIP: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has distributed 24,850 hot meals to vulnerable families in central and southern Gaza as part of a campaign to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The central kitchen operated by KSrelief forms part of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian and relief efforts to help meet the basic needs of affected families and strengthen their resilience amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.
These efforts reflect the Kingdom’s longstanding humanitarian role, represented by KSrelief, in meeting the essential needs of affected families and supporting them amid difficult circumstances.
Saudi project pumps 500,000 liters of drinking water into Gaza
Earlier on Thursday, KSrelief pumped 500,000 liters of safe drinking water across several governorates in the Gaza Strip.
The project is part of the ongoing Saudi fundraising campaign to support the Palestinian people, demonstrating the Kingdom’s broader humanitarian efforts through KSrelief to strengthen the local water sector and ease the hardships families face across the strip, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

Saudi Arabia urges global action to end Israeli violations in Gaza
Last month, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan renewed the Kingdom’s call on the international community to assume its responsibilities by taking practical steps to halt Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
Prince Faisal was speaking at the Arab-Islamic countries Ministerial Meeting in Support of Jerusalem and its Holy Sites, hosted by Jordan.
The foreign minister reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s position that East Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine, stressing that all unilateral measures, including settlement expansion and land confiscation, are illegal and cannot alter the city’s legal status or create legitimate rights.
He also reiterated the Kingdom’s rejection of actions aimed at changing Jerusalem’s historical and legal status or undermining its Islamic and Christian identity. He dismissed attempts to invoke freedom of worship to justify measures that seek to impose a new political reality under occupation.
