GAZA: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), has pumped 500,000 litres of safe drinking water across several governorates in the Gaza Strip.
The project is part of the ongoing Saudi fundraising campaign to support the Palestinian people, demonstrating the Kingdom’s broader humanitarian efforts through KSrelief to strengthen the local water sector and ease the hardships families face across the strip, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

Saudi Arabia expands water aid in Gaza with four desalination plants
KSrelief has previously implemented a project to establish four water desalination plants in the Khan Younis and Deir Al-Balah governorates.
The latest project aims to ease the impact of widespread damage to Gaza’s water and sanitation infrastructure, as well as the reduced capacity to operate wells and desalination facilities.
Saudi Arabia continues to support efforts to improve living conditions in Gaza by providing safe drinking water and helping create conditions conducive to recovery.
KSrelief Provides 24,000 Hot Meals in Gaza
Menahwie, the central kitchen of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has provided 24,000 hot meals to vulnerable individuals across the central and southern Gaza Strip.
The distribution is part of the ongoing Saudi fundraising campaign to support the Palestinian people, reflecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s continuous humanitarian relief efforts through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to alleviate suffering throughout the Gaza Strip.
Kingdom urges global action to end Israeli violations in Gaza
Last month, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan renewed the Kingdom’s call on the international community to assume its responsibilities by taking practical steps to halt Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

Prince Faisal was speaking at the Arab-Islamic countries Ministerial Meeting in Support of Jerusalem and its Holy Sites, hosted by Jordan.
The foreign minister reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s position that East Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine, stressing that all unilateral measures, including settlement expansion and land confiscation, are illegal and cannot alter the city’s legal status or create legitimate rights.
He also reiterated the Kingdom’s rejection of actions aimed at changing Jerusalem’s historical and legal status or undermining its Islamic and Christian identity. He dismissed attempts to invoke freedom of worship to justify measures that seek to impose a new political reality under occupation.
