ISLAMABAD: The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will arrive in Islamabad on Monday (today) on a one-day visit.
Expected Meetings of the UAE President
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be escorted by JF-17 aircraft to PAF Noor Khan Air Base where the distinguished guest will be given a 21-gun salute.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and important members of the federal cabinet will welcome the distinguished guest at the air base, said a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office
Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be presented with a guard of honour by the armed forces of Pakistan at the Prime Minister’s House, after which the UAE president will have a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Earlier, Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Pakistan on January 25. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed him at Rahim Yar Khan airport.
Update: UAE President Visit Postponed
The visit of the UAE president was postponed due to bad weather in Islamabad. He was expected to arrive here early today from Rahim Yar Khan where he already arrived two days back.
