RIYADH:  Saudi Arabia on Tuesday strongly condemned the attack on the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) prime minister’s office in Iraq.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, said the attack, which targeted the office of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, is a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq.

The ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s rejection of all hostile actions targeting public and political figures, as well as any acts that threaten the security of Iraqi state institutions or undermine the country’s security and stability.

It reiterated Saudi Arabia’s firm opposition to all forms of interference in states’ internal affairs, violations of their sovereignty, and breaches of the principles of good-neighborliness and international law.
