The achievement marks the team’s second consecutive top-seven performance at the prestigious tournament, following their seventh-place debut in 2025.

The final standings: Elite company
The tournament, contested under a points-based format with no conventional two-team final, saw S2G Esports of Türkiye clinch the championship with 154 points. South Korea’s Nongshim RedForce finished a close second with 149 points, while Aurora Gaming rounded out the podium with 146 points.
4Thrives’ sixth-place finish placed them in elite company, competing shoulder-to-shoulder with organisations that have dominated the global PUBG Mobile scene for years. The result not only adds to their growing reputation but also signals that Pakistan is no longer a newcomer to the world stage, it is a contender.

From December 2024 to World Cup stalwarts: The 4thrives story
The journey of 4Thrives reads less like a typical esports story and more like a blueprint for rapid success. Founded in December 2024, the organisation wasted no time in making its mark on Pakistan’s competitive PUBG Mobile scene.
The first milestone came with victory at the PUBG Mobile Iftar Showdown 2025, immediately establishing the team as one to watch. They followed this with the PUBG Mobile National Championship Pakistan Spring 2025 title, a victory that opened doors to regional competition.
The international breakthrough arrived at the PMSL Central & South Asia Spring 2025, where 4Thrives finished third and secured qualification for their maiden PUBG Mobile World Cup in 2025. That tournament saw them finish seventh, earning $157,000 and invaluable experience against the world’s best, experience that would prove crucial in the months ahead.
Sixth in the world but far from where we believed we would finish.
This wasn’t the ending we expected, nor the result we fought for. Still, we leave the EWC 2026 Grand Finals with our heads held high and a fire stronger than before.

2026: A year of ascension
If 2025 was about establishing credibility, 2026 has been about cementing dominance.
The year began with victory at the PUBG Mobile 141 Ultimate Grind in March, a statement of intent that 4Thrives were not content to rest on their 2025 achievements.
The defining moment came in May, when 4Thrives captured the PMGO Season 1 South Asia Finals. Their regional triumph earned them a place in the global PMGO Main Event, an opportunity they seized with both hands.
In June, in Jakarta, Indonesia, 4Thrives produced the single greatest achievement in their history. The team topped the 12-match Grand Finals with 122 points, including three Chicken Dinners and 77 eliminations, finishing ahead of Türkiye’s ULF Esports and Brazil’s FURIA.
The victory earned the Pakistani team $62,500 and secured their place at the PMWC 2026, a tournament they had now qualified for with conviction rather than as newcomers.

Their sixth-place finish in Paris adds to a growing body of evidence that Pakistan’s esports ecosystem is producing world-class talent capable of competing, and thriving, on the biggest stages.
Pakistan has long been known for its passionate gaming community, but results like those of 4Thrives translate passion into measurable achievement. The organisation’s journey from a December 2024 startup to consecutive World Cup appearances and a global PMGO championship in 2026 is a testament to what is possible when talent, ambition, and opportunity converge.
For Pakistan’s millions of young gamers, 4Thrives represents proof that the path to the world stage is open, and increasingly, it leads through Pakistan.
