ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s federal capital has been transformed into a dazzling spectacle of lights and colours as Pakistan celebrates the historic Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia on August 7, 2026.

From Constitution Avenue to the Parliament House, Islamabad has been decorated with the national flags of the three brotherly nations, symbolising their unbreakable bonds of faith, brotherhood and mutual defence.

The streets of the capital and its sister city Rawalpindi have become vibrant centres of celebration, drawing citizens who are expressing their joy and pride over the growing cooperation between the three Islamic countries.

Capital city illuminated in celebratory display

National flags of Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia have been prominently displayed along the Constitution Avenue, while important government buildings, including the Parliament House, have been beautifully decorated with electric lights and special decorations.

The spectacular illuminations have turned the capital into a breathtaking sight, reflecting the significance of the historic agreement that binds the three nations in a joint defence commitment.

Special LED screens have been installed at prominent locations across the Federal Capital, including Constitution Avenue and Kacheri Chowk, displaying powerful messages highlighting the historic brotherly relations, mutual cooperation and joint defence commitment among the three Islamic countries.
