ABHA, Saudi Arabia: The mountain destination of Al-Habala Park in the Asir Region of Saudi Arabia has become one of the region’s most visited summer attractions, welcoming both domestic and international tourists seeking cooler climates and immersive outdoor experiences.
Situated more than 50 kilometres south-east of Abha, the park sits at an elevation exceeding 2,000 metres above sea level. Its dramatic cliffs, deep valleys and lush vegetation create a distinctive natural setting that is frequently enveloped in mist during the summer months, adding to its appeal as a seasonal retreat.
One of the site’s most notable features is its close proximity to the historic Al-Habala village, an old mountainside settlement that offers insight into traditional regional life and architectural heritage.
