ABUJA, Nigeria: Saudi aid agency, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has distributed 450 food baskets to the most vulnerable groups in Taraba State, of Nigeria.
The initiative benefited 2,700 individuals from 450 families, as part of the 2026 food assistance project for affected and displaced populations in the African state, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
The project forms part of the humanitarian and relief programmes implemented by the Kingdom through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) to strengthen food security and provide essential assistance to vulnerable and affected communities around the world.
Through such initiatives, KSrelief seeks to alleviate human suffering, improve living conditions and support families facing economic hardship, food shortages and the consequences of crises and natural disasters.
Since its establishment, KSrelief has implemented hundreds of humanitarian projects across multiple countries, delivering food aid, healthcare services, shelter assistance and other vital support to millions of beneficiaries worldwide.
