Ahmedabad, India: One year after the Air India Boeing-787 crash killed 260 people, including 15-year-old Akash Patni, his family gathers near the accident site in India’s Ahmedabad. Patni’s family reaches the crash site early Friday morning and sets up his cutout and framed photographs, lit an oil lamp, offered rose petals, and plays Hindu religious hymns.
“We will move out. Whenever we come here, all we can see is his face and relive the same memories,” says Suresh Patni, father of Akash Patni.
