LONDON, England: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has assembled a star-studded, female-led commentary team for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, bringing together some of the most accomplished voices in world cricket to deliver expert coverage of the global tournament.

The announcement reflects the ICC’s continued commitment to elevating women’s cricket, highlighting a panel that blends World Cup-winning experience, international leadership and world-class broadcasting expertise. The commentary team will provide analysis, storytelling and in-depth insight across all 33 matches of the tournament.
The event begins on 12 June with hosts England taking on Sri Lanka, and concludes with the final at Lord’s on 5 July.
Champions and World Cup winners lead the panel
Several members of the commentary team bring firsthand experience of winning cricket’s biggest titles.
Australia’s former World Cup winners include Mel Jones and Julia Price, while Stacy-Ann King was part of the West Indies squad that lifted the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
England’s dual World Cup winners Isa Guha and Ebony Rainford-Brent also feature, bringing experience from both ODI and T20 World Cup triumphs.
Global stars and elite commentators join forces
The lineup also features some of the most recognisable names in international cricket broadcasting and analysis.
Former players such as Matthew Hayden, Dinesh Karthik and Carlos Brathwaite add men’s World Cup-winning experience to the panel.
Renowned commentators Nasser Hussain, Ian Bishop and Ian Smith—famed for their work during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 final—reunite for another global tournament.
They are joined by international stars and former captains including Mithali Raj, Tash Farrant, Anjum Chopra, Simon Doull, Veda Krishnamurthy, Sana Mir, Isobel Joyce and Katey Martin.
Strengthened broadcast team for global audience
The broadcasting unit is further strengthened by experienced presenters and commentators including Charles Dagnall, Natalie Germanos, Alan Wilkins, Laura McGoldrick, Jatin Sapru, Kass Naidoo, Raunak Kapoor and Ali Mitchell.
