DUBAI, UAE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the Emirates ICC International Panel of Match Officials for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, set to begin on June 12 in England and Wales.
For the third straight time, the tournament will be overseen exclusively by female officials. Making their World Cup debuts are Candace La Borde, Gayathri Venugopalan, Kerrin Klaaste, and Shathira Jakir Jesy.

ICC Chief Executive Sanjog Gupta noted that this selection underscores the governing body’s ongoing push to broaden representation across all areas of the sport.
“This panel reflects the ICC’s commitment to expanding the scope of representation to all facets of cricket,” he said. Gupta added that officials are evaluated using a “comprehensive, holistic and evidence-based” process.
“We are delighted to see the progress made by these officials and the elevated standards they demonstrated during ICC CWC 2025,” he said. “As we prepare to deliver the biggest women’s sporting event in the world, this selection will elevate the meaning of the athletic spectacle.”
A total of 14 umpires and four match referees will manage 33 matches. Nine officials from the 2024 edition return. Australia’s Claire Polosak will appear in her sixth World Cup, having previously officiated 22 matches.
Jacquline Williams and Kim Cotton will each reach their fifth T20 World Cup, with 19 matches apiece. Returning match referees include Shandre Fritz, GS Lakshmi, and Michell Pereira, joined by New Zealand’s Trudy Anderson to complete the four-member group.
