RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call on Saturday from Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Dr. Badr Abdelatty to discuss the latest regional developments and maintain bilateral coordination and consultation on these issues, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
On Friday, the Saudi Foreign Minister also held a telephone conversation with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and discussed the latest developments in the region.
During the call, the two ministers discussed the latest developments in the region and the efforts to maintain security and stability, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The discussion comes at a time when Pakistan and Middle Eastern countries are intensifying diplomatic engagement to address a range of regional challenges, including ongoing conflicts, humanitarian concerns, and efforts to promote dialogue and de-escalation.
