Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Discuss Regional Developments, Bilateral Ties

Saudi Ambassador appreciates Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace and stability.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, exchanged views on recent regional developments during a meeting held in Islamabad on Monday, while reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations.

The Saudi Ambassador called on the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where both sides held detailed discussions on the fraternal Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relationship.

During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to enhancing cooperation with Saudi Arabia across all areas of mutual interest, including political engagement, economic collaboration, and diplomatic coordination.

Both sides also discussed recent regional developments and exchanged views on matters of mutual concern, underscoring the importance of continued dialogue and close coordination between the two countries on issues affecting regional peace and stability.

The Saudi Ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s consistent and constructive role in promoting peace and stability in the region. He also expressed Saudi Arabia’s resolve to further deepen and expand its longstanding partnership with Pakistan.

The meeting concluded with both sides agreeing to remain in close contact and continue working together to strengthen bilateral cooperation at various levels, reflecting the enduring brotherly ties between Islamabad and Riyadh.
