ANKARA: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin on Wednesday met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, during which the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation and promote security and stability in the region, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the meeting, they agreed to enhance cooperation in a manner that serves mutual interests and contributes to security and stability in the region, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The meeting was attended by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji, Saudi Ambassador to Türkiye Fahad Abualnasr, and Director General of the General Department for Councils and Committees Fahad Alharthi.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan signed an agreement granting mutual visa exemptions for Saudi and Turkish holders of diplomatic and special passports.

The two foreign ministers also held a meeting where the two sides reviewed relations between their countries, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
They also discussed regional developments and explored ways to maintain security and stability in the region.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah arrived in Ankara on Wednesday to co-chair the third meeting of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council.
The meeting is being held as part of efforts to enhance cooperation between the two countries across a range of sectors, with the aim of advancing shared interests and ensuring continued coordination on regional and international issues.
Relations between Saudi Arabia and Turkiye have evolved significantly, with both countries working to strengthen political, economic, and defence cooperation.
In recent years, ties have further improved with high-level visits and agreements aimed at boosting trade and investment.
