GAZA: The Saudi aid agency, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), has continued its large-scale distribution of food baskets across southern Khan Yunis, as part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

KSrelief’s implementing partner in Gaza, the Saudi Centre for Culture and Heritage, coordinated the delivery and organised the field distribution according to a detailed plan that prioritises the most urgent humanitarian needs, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.

The initiative ensures that vulnerable families, including women, children, and the elderly, receive timely and essential food assistance.

This operation highlights Saudi Arabia’s steadfast commitment to alleviating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, reinforcing its role as a leading provider of relief aid in the region.

The aid campaign forms part of KSrelief’s broader strategy, which includes the provision of medical supplies, clean water, and emergency shelter to communities affected by ongoing conflict and shortages.

In addition to food support, KSrelief is working closely with local organisations to monitor the needs on the ground, ensuring equitable distribution and maximum impact for the affected population.

The initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s dedication to humanitarian principles and its continued support for the rights and well-being of the Palestinian people.
