ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has expressed strong support for diplomatic efforts led by Saudi Arabia to promote peace and stability in Yemen, while also commending the role played by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in advancing the peace process.

In a statement, Pakistan said it was closely monitoring recent developments in Yemen and reaffirmed its commitment to a negotiated political solution to the long-running conflict.

Islamabad underscored the importance of preserving Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity, urging Yemeni stakeholders to avoid unilateral actions that could further escalate tensions. The statement called on all Yemeni parties to engage constructively and in good faith in an inclusive dialogue based on agreed parameters.

Pakistan also expressed hope that ongoing diplomatic initiatives would lead to tangible progress toward lasting peace and help alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people, who have borne the brunt of years of conflict.

Pakistan has consistently supported peaceful resolutions to regional conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy, particularly in the Middle East, aligning its position with international efforts aimed at political stability and humanitarian relief in Yemen.
